Rumble is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in network defense against DDoS threats. This position demands deep networking knowledge and focuses on maintaining service availability.

As part of Rumble’s team, you will focus on designing, operating, and enhancing defenses against high-volume network attacks. You'll intersect with various teams to ensure the security of critical services and build architecture resilient to various DDoS attack vectors. Expect to analyze, automate, and optimize processes to improve our response to emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design and enhance DDoS detection and mitigation systems • Develop network architectures ensuring service performance • Utilize telemetry and traffic analysis for attack identification • Collaborate with teams for improved incident response efforts • Maintain infrastructure documentation and runbooks for reference

Requirements: • 8+ years in network or security engineering • Strong foundational knowledge of DDoS attack mechanisms • Experience with BGP and traffic engineering methodologies • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages • Excellent incident response and documentation skills
