Join the Northern Society for Domestic Peace as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist. This role supports financial operations and ensures payroll accuracy in a purposeful organization.

In this permanent full time position, you will perform essential bookkeeping tasks and payroll administration. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, your contributions to financial oversight will ensure adherence to both organizational and funder requirements. Exceptional problem-solving skills and knowledge of Sage are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:



• Administer payroll functions and statutory deductions • Conduct regular account reconciliations and discrepancies resolution • Maintain comprehensive financial records and audit trails • Prepare financial reports for Executive and Board review • Assist with annual financial audits and compliance tasks

Requirements: • Education in accounting or business administration • Experience in bookkeeping, particularly in a non-profit • Strong familiarity with Sage software and financial practices • Excellent communication and time management skills • Commitment to privacy and ethical handling of information
