Dominion Dynamics seeks a dedicated Vehicle Management Systems Engineer in Ottawa, focusing on end-to-end architecture for mission autonomy and vehicle execution. This full time, on-site role is essential.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, validating, and integrating the VMS architecture, ensuring that high-level commands are executed safely on the vehicle. Your hands-on experience will be key in managing supplier interactions and leading integration tests to verify hardware functionality on autonomous platforms.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design the central VMS architecture connecting autonomy and vehicle control • Develop ICDs for dynamic command processing • Lead the integration lifecycle of flight-critical hardware • Manage supplier delivery of avionics and GNC systems • Architect FDIR logic and ensure fail-safe operations

Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in VMS or flight control system integration • Proficiency in ICD creation and hardware management • Knowledge of avionics design and integration processes • Familiarity with HIL testing methodologies • Engineering degree in relevant disciplines
