As the regional business driver, you will proactively engage with key customers, industry partners, and internal teams to position our sophisticated transmission technologies at the heart of Canada’s grid transformation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, tendering, and execution, while aligning with broader corporate objectives and market trends. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales, FACTs and in-country to the Head of Tendering and Project Management in Canada, you will create the next wave of innovative projects in Canada for Siemens Energy. You will be instrumental in identifying and winning transformative projects, encouraging strategic partnerships, and translating technical capabilities into tailored, high-value customer solutions. Your ambitious mentality, commercial skill, and deep market insight will directly give to strengthening our market leadership in grid technologies.

How You’ll Make An Impact

You will implement our targeted go-to-market approach for Solutions (FACTs) in Canada, aligned with global strategy and regional dynamics.

By actively pursuing business opportunities with utilities, developers, EPCs, grid operators, and policymakers, you will grow a robust project pipeline and position us as a strategic partner in critical grid investments.

You will develop positive relationships with senior decision-makers and technical influencers, establishing long‑term engagement that supports repeat business and strategic alignment.

By continuously analyzing energy policies, grid expansion plans, and investment trends, you will actively seek out opportunities and develop customer conversations around solutions.

Collaborating closely with global technical and commercial teams, you will steer proposal activities—ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood,



and that our offers are compelling, competitive, and aligned with strategic goals.

By participating in key industry events, customer forums, and regional conferences, you will elevate our market presence and promote our leadership in sophisticated grid solutions.

What You Bring

Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, project, or business management in the high voltage industry, with a mandatory education in Electrical Engineering.

In-depth knowledge of the Transmission and Distribution market in Canada, along with technical expertise and operational experience in HVDC, FACTS, and Storage technologies.

Strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels, with leadership experience in managing international teams and multiple interfaces.

Strong personal skills for networking and developing culture and organization, combined with a proactive, innovative mindset and a commitment to exceeding objectives and owning complex challenges.

Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed. Travel can range from 20% to 40%.

This position is in a French‑speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.

Pay Transparency: This position is based in Oakville, Ontario. Siemens Energy offers a comprehensive perks package, including health and wellness programs, paid time off, and holiday pay. The base salary range for this role is $140,000 – $160,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications. This position is for an Immediate Vacancy.
