As a Seasonal Road Maintenance Operator, you will work under the direction of the Road Foreperson to achieve production objectives while focusing on safety. Your expertise in operating heavy equipment and performing manual tasks will directly contribute to safe travel during winter. Emphasizing teamwork, you will maintain road cleanliness and safety for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Explicit ice and snow from public roadways • Operate heavy equipment in various weather conditions • Keep accurate logs of work and equipment maintenance • Adhere to Supervisor's daily production guidelines • Work collaboratively with team members on tasks
Requirements: • Minimum two years of road maintenance experience • Class 1 or 3 driver's license needed • Previous snow removal experience is preferred • Knowledge of road construction and maintenance • Familiarity with electronic reporting tools an asset
