As the Terminal Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate maintenance activities carried out by contractors and on-board Engineers. Your expertise will ensure the safe operation of terminal ramps and structures while supervising unionized staff and maintaining inventory control. A thorough understanding of marine construction regulations and safety standards will be essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute terminal maintenance and repairs
• Supervise unionized Sliptenders for maximized productivity
• Conduct marine structure inspections daily and report on issues
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend improvements
• Manage the terminal’s budget and maintenance schedule
Requirements:
• Engineering diploma or relevant apprenticeship completion
• 5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Health and safety knowledge preferred
• Familiarity with marine structures and safety regulations
