Join WCG in Brampton as an Employment Consultant, where you will play a key role in helping clients secure and maintain meaningful employment. This in-office position focuses on a client-centered approach to overcome barriers to work.
As part of a fixed term role until March 2027, you will manage diverse client needs while collaborating with community stakeholders for effective referrals. Key tasks include creating tailored Employment Action Plans and providing vocational advice and job search training to assist clients in their employment journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve individualized and team KPIs through effective management • Assess and document client's employment-related skills • Guide clients through the job search and skill development • Conduct on-site employer visits for better employment conditions • Coordinate necessary training for job retention
Requirements: • Background in social services or human resources • Strong understanding of job market and unemployment issues • Excellent documentation and assessment skills • Willingness to work flexible schedule as needed • Employment contingent on a criminal record check
