Perform in office
fault diagnosis, inspection, repair, and component replacement
for construction machinery and equipment. Identify root causes based on fault symptoms, diagnostic trouble codes, and test results, and develop appropriate repair solutions. Diagnose and repair common issues involving
engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrain systems . Conduct equipment testing, commissioning, and functional verification after repairs to ensure proper operation. 2. Preventive Maintenance
Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance according to equipment maintenance intervals. Inspect and replace engine oil, hydraulic oil, filters, and other maintenance parts as required. Inspect key systems, including the engine, hydraulic system, electrical system, and undercarriage, to identify potential problems before failures occur. Complete maintenance and repair records as required. 3. Inspection and Maintenance of Stock Equipment
Conduct regular inspections of construction machinery and equipment in stock to ensure they remain in good working condition. Start and operate equipment that has been stored for extended periods and perform necessary preventive maintenance. Identify equipment abnormalities and carry out repairs promptly to prevent further damage. 4. Field Technical Service
Travel to customer sites to perform equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, hydraulic pressure gauges, and other service tools to diagnose equipment faults. Perform equipment installation, commissioning, and
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
when required.
Properly document unresolved technical issues and report them to the technical support team for further assistance. 5. Service Orders and Repair Documentation
Create and complete service orders according to company requirements. Accurately record fault symptoms, root causes, repair procedures, replaced parts, and final repair results. Maintain service documentation, including on-site photos, test data, and other relevant technical records. Requirements
Education
Diploma or above in
Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Construction Machinery Maintenance , or a related field. Work Experience
At least
3 years of hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of construction machinery or other heavy equipment . Experience with excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, cranes, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment is preferred. Previous experience in after-sales service for a construction machinery manufacturer or dealer is preferred. Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and related troubleshooting methods. Ability to independently diagnose, disassemble, repair, and maintain construction machinery. Proficient in using multimeters, hydraulic pressure gauges, diagnostic tools, and common mechanical service tools. Ability to read and understand basic
hydraulic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams . Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in field service environments and travel as required.
