Gosal & Company is now accepting applications for a law student to start at the beginning of January 2027, with articles commencing upon successful enrollment with the Law Society of British Columbia.
We are an extremely busy, well-established administrative law firm dealing exclusively with WorkSafeBC (WCB) claims and appeals, based in Surrey’s thriving Health & Technology Hub.
The ideal and suitable candidate must possess solid writing skills and be comfortable with extensive drafting of written submissions. Familiarity with medical-legal terminology is a definite asset as the position involves interacting with clients who are dealing with physical and/or psychological disabilities.
Duties will include
- Interviewing and advising clients;
- Corresponding with administrative decision-makers;
- Conducting legal research;
- Preparing legal documents;
- Reviewing and succinctly summarizing WorkSafeBC disclosure files;
- Drafting research memos; and
- Conducting client file reviews.
