Job Summary

Stay at Home Elevating & Renovations is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Accessibility Sales Representative to join our team.

This is a proactive sales role focused on generating new opportunities, building referral relationships, following up with prospective clients, and converting opportunities into sales.

The successful candidate will manage incoming company leads while also actively creating new sales opportunities throughout Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

We provide an established list of organizations, professionals, and potential referral partners to connect with. However, we are looking for someone who will also take initiative to research new prospects, identify organizations we should be connecting with, and get out into the community to introduce themselves and our company.

Our company specializes in stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, home elevators, accessibility renovations, ramps, and other solutions that help people remain safe and independent in their homes and communities.

The ideal candidate is personable, confident, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable approaching new people. You should enjoy networking, building relationships, following up on opportunities, and ultimately turning conversations into sales.

Sales Responsibilities

- Actively generate new leads and sales opportunities throughout Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands
- Work from an established company list of potential referral partners and prospective clients
- Research and identify additional organizations, professionals, businesses, and other potential sources of new sales
- Conduct regular in-person visits to introduce yourself and Stay at Home Elevating & Renovations
- Build relationships with occupational therapists, healthcare professionals, care facilities, contractors, builders, property managers, community organizations, and other potential referral partners
- Prospect for new residential and commercial opportunities through networking, in-person visits, phone, email, referrals, and community involvement
- Manage and follow up promptly on incoming company-generated leads
- Follow up consistently on quotations, previous inquiries, prospective projects, and potential sales
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities
- Attend trade shows, networking events, industry events, and community events
- Identify new markets, referral sources, partnerships, and opportunities to generate sales
- Meet established sales, outreach, and performance targets
- Track leads,



prospecting activity, referral sources, quotations, follow-ups, and sales results
- Build long-term professional relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Take ownership of your sales territory and actively look for opportunities rather than relying solely on incoming leads

Client Consultation & Sales
- Meet with homeowners and other clients on-site to understand their mobility and accessibility needs
- Recommend appropriate solutions, including stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, home elevators, ramps, accessibility renovations, and related products
- Explain products, options, pricing, and technical information clearly and confidently
- Conduct product demonstrations where appropriate
- Gather measurements, photographs, and site information required to prepare accurate quotations
- Prepare and present estimates, quotations, and proposals
- Assist clients in understanding available product and funding options where applicable
- Follow up on quotations and prospective projects to move opportunities through the sales process
- Maintain strong client relationships from the initial consultation through project completion
- Provide excellent communication and customer service throughout the sales process

Sales & Project Support
- Work closely with project managers, technicians, contractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure sold projects are handed over accurately
- Gather and document the information required for successful installation and project planning
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, project information, and required follow-up
- Develop a strong working knowledge of our accessibility products and services
- Stay informed about new products and accessibility solutions relevant to our customers

Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, outside sales, territory sales, account sales, consultative sales, or relationship-based selling is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, generate leads, build relationships, and create new sales opportunities
- Comfortable approaching new organizations and individuals, introducing yourself, and starting conversations




- Comfortable spending time out in the community meeting prospective clients and referral partners
- Willing and able to independently research and identify recent sales prospects
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own territory, schedule, pipeline, and follow-up
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Confident asking for the sale and following up with prospective customers
- Experience in accessibility, healthcare, construction, renovations, home improvement, mobility equipment, or technical sales is an asset but not required
- Comfortable learning technical products and basic construction-related concepts
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience reading drawings, taking measurements, or assessing site conditions is an asset
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Vancouver Island and surrounding areas
- Comfortable using computers, email, CRM systems, and standard office software
- Compassionate and client-focused, with a genuine desire to help people improve their safety, accessibility, and independence

What Success Looks Like This is not a passive or primarily desk-based sales position.

You will receive incoming opportunities from the company, but you will also be expected to actively create your own.

A successful Accessibility Sales Representative will work through existing company contacts and prospects while continually identifying new organizations and people to connect with. You will regularly get out into the community, introduce yourself, develop relationships, follow up consistently, and turn those relationships into referrals and sales.

Success will be measured through sales revenue, leads generated, new referral relationships established, prospecting and outreach activity, follow-up performance, conversion of incoming leads, and overall contribution to company sales growth.

Compensation & Benefits

- Base salary plus commission

Pay: $40,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
