Lead Vaughan's Recreation Services as a full-time Recreation Supervisor. Focus on event management and team leadership to deliver outstanding community engagements.

Reporting to the Recreation Manager, you will provide coaching and guidance to Event Coordinators while overseeing city-led events. Your responsibilities include planning, promoting, and executing events that align with Vaughan's goals, ensuring risk mitigation and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities: • Guide Event Coordinators in achieving event success • Oversee planning and execution of city-led events • Develop marketing strategies and sponsorship opportunities • Analyze risks and implement mitigations for programs • Foster collaboration among team members and departments

Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field • Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in event management • 3 years' supervisory experience, preferably in municipal setting • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills • Valid Ontario 'G' driver’s license and reliable vehicle
