Join McKay Metis Contracting as an Equipment Operator for an exciting Oil Sands project with a structured 14 days on, 14 days off work rotation. This camp role is centered on safety and efficiency in public works and road construction.
This advanced position requires considerable knowledge and experience, particularly with 160M graders and skid-steers. You'll be responsible for operating equipment while taking direction from designated leaders. Knowledge of construction mathematics and the ability to perform labour-intensive tasks are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct road maintenance and public works operations
• Operate heavy machinery and equipment as specified
• Read and utilize grade stakes for construction tasks




• Engage in necessary physical labour tasks on the site
• Follow all safety protocols and instructions from supervisors
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean 5-year abstract
• Skid-steer certification and First Aid Level C
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Must be flexible in demanding site conditions
• Physically able to fulfill the job duties
