Quest Language Studies, a downtown Toronto ESL school that has been providing the highest quality English instruction for over 25 years, is now accepting applications from Activity Leaders to join our team starting in September 2026.

Spend your time touring Toronto with our international adult students. The Activity Leader position requires energy and enthusiasm as you support our international students in their adventure in Canada.

Currently, we are offering two positions.

From Tuesday, September 22, 2026, Quest Language Studies is offering an Activity Leader positions scheduled from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.

Following the above position, Quest Language is offering an Activity Leader position scheduled every Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm for our Chat Buddy Program. The Chat Buddy program requires an activity leader to lead a group of six students to a public place and facilitate conversation in English with the group.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Monitor the health, safety, and welfare of students, anticipating discrimination, bullying, and damage, always notifying a member of the management team.




- Monitor the whereabouts of students through their outings, activities and excursions.
- Take responsibility for leading assigned activities and groups during excursions
- Encourage full and enthusiastic involvement by students in the scheduled social program and lead by example.
- Cooperate and communicate with the Student Service Coordinator.

Essential

- Enthusiasm, energy and motivational skills
- Have a valuable understanding of using public transit to travel around Toronto.
- Enjoy participating in physical activities (skating, tobogganing and activities that require a lot of walking).

Desirable

- CPR / First Aid
- Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
- Instructor experience e.g., sports, drama, dance, arts and crafts etc.
