In the position of Educational Assistant, you will report to the Principal of Special Education and work with high needs students. Collaborating with the school’s behavioural support team will be key in implementing effective programming. A valid driver’s license is necessary for travel to various school placements.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assist high needs students in multiple educational settings • Work with team members to develop support strategies • Facilitate transitions for students moving between programs • Employ ABA and Proactive Solutions methodologies in support • Embrace Indigenous teachings and respect cultural knowledge

Requirements: • Two-year social services diploma or certificate • Proven experience with autism and physical disabilities • Familiarity with behavioural management systems • Solid collaboration skills within a school framework • A valid driver’s license is mandatory
