Aesthetician / Laser Technician

JeunesseMD is a new physician-led facial plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice in Coal Harbour, Vancouver. We are looking for an experienced Aesthetician / Laser Technician who is passionate about skin health, laser treatments, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This is an opportunity to join a current practice from the beginning, help build our medical aesthetics program, develop a loyal patient base, and grow with the clinic as we expand.

Experience treating acne, pigmentation, melasma, photodamage, texture, and other common aesthetic skin concerns is highly valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform approved facial, skincare, laser, IPL, microneedling, radiofrequency, and other aesthetic treatments within your training and qualifications.
- Conduct patient consultations, skin assessments, and treatment planning.
- Educate patients about treatments, expected results, pre- and post-treatment care, and medical-grade skincare.
- Recommend appropriate home skincare regimens, treatments, and products based on individual patient needs.
- Identify contraindications or treatment concerns and escalate medical questions to the physician when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and standardized before-and-after photography.
- Follow all treatment, infection-control, sanitation, laser-safety, and room protocols.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, supplies, and product inventory.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the treatments, technologies, and skincare products offered by JeunesseMD.
- Support patient rebooking, retention, treatment-plan conversion, and retail skincare sales while maintaining an ethical, patient-focused approach.
- Work collaboratively with the JeunesseMD team and assist with other reasonable clinic duties as required.





EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or certificate in Medical Aesthetics, Advanced Aesthetics, Esthetics, or a comparable program from a recognized Canadian training institution, or equivalent training.
- Appropriate training and certification for laser and other energy-based devices operated.
- 1+ years of relevant medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or comparable experience preferred.
- Hands-on laser treatment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience treating acne, pigmentation, melasma, photodamage, and other common skin concerns preferred.
- Experience with advanced facial treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare.
- Excellent communication, consultation, and patient-education skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize contraindications and treatment concerns.
- Professional, reliable, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a physician-led clinical team.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

COMPENSATION $23.00 per hour plus commission.

Service and retail commission opportunities are provided in addition to hourly compensation in accordance with JeunesseMD's compensation structure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule: Weekdays; occasional weekend availability may be required as the practice grows.

Work Location: In person — Coal Harbour, Vancouver, BC The duties listed above are intended to describe the primary responsibilities of the position. Employees may be required to perform other reasonable job-related duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
