- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse on unit protocols
- Provide direction to Personal Support Workers daily
- Liaise with physicians regarding resident changes
- Attend shift reports for effective communication
- Assist with revisions of procedures in the residence
Requirements:
- Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- In-depth knowledge of long-term care legislation
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
- Current membership in positive standing with nursing college
- Ability to foster meaningful resident connections
