This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a AI-First Copy & Community Manager based in Canada.
As an AI-First Copy & Community Manager, you will create sharp, engaging copy and meaningful community interactions for globally recognized entertainment brands. You will combine strong editorial judgment with AI agents, reusable workflows, and structured context libraries to produce high-quality work efficiently. The role spans social copywriting, community engagement, content optimization, fact-checking, and audience development across major digital platforms.
You will learn each brand’s voice and audience deeply, ensuring that every piece of content feels authentic, accurate, and platform-appropriate. You will also help identify trends, fandom conversations, and engagement opportunities that can strengthen audience relationships. Beyond delivering great work, you will contribute to improving the systems and AI-enabled methods used across the wider creative team.
This is a fully remote opportunity within Canada, working alongside an international team in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
- Write engaging, distinctive, and on-brand social copy for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Use AI agents and agentic workflows as part of the standard creative process, while maintaining editorial ownership over the final output.
- Review and refine AI-assisted and human-created copy for clarity, accuracy, tone, audience fit, grammar, accessibility, and platform-specific requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of each brand’s voice, audience, subject matter, source materials, and editorial standards.
- Maintain and improve tone-of-voice guidance, source context, editorial examples, and reusable resources that support consistent content creation.
- Fact-check claims against approved sources and carefully review names, links, formatting, accessibility considerations, rights, and brand-safety requirements.
- Develop creative social content angles and copy approaches that improve engagement, visibility, attention, and audience connection.
- Use performance signals, audience feedback, and community insights to continuously improve copy and content strategies.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement by responding to comments and participating in relevant conversations across fan, talent, and partner content.
- Recognize when to engage, when to pause, and when an issue requires escalation,
ensuring responses remain timely and consistent with brand personality.
- Monitor culture, fandom, social trends, and platform developments to identify relevant engagement and content opportunities.
- Use AI agents for repeatable tasks such as generating copy variations, checking source material, and summarizing community themes, while critically reviewing and improving their output.
- Manage deadlines, community responsiveness, shared workloads, and asynchronous collaboration across international time zones.
- Develop reusable skills, workflows, and methods that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across the wider team.
- Test new AI capabilities against real briefs, evaluate results, and update shared processes when they improve reliability or creative quality.
- Demonstrate the impact of improvements through examples, feedback, performance signals, and other useful measures.
Requirements
- Excellent written English with a strong editorial instinct and the ability to produce precise, distinctive, engaging copy across different tones and formats.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt brand voice and messaging to different audiences, platforms, and communication objectives.
- Strong community judgment, including an understanding of fan behavior, online conversations, appropriate responses, and escalation scenarios.
- Genuine interest in television, film, entertainment, fandom, social media, and online culture.
- Hands-on experience using AI agents in professional, academic, or personal projects, beyond basic chatbot prompting.
- Ability to build context, direct AI-assisted production and quality checks, identify weak or inaccurate output, and improve the final result.
- Confidence working with editorial documents, social platforms, content workflows, and modern AI tools.
- Experience in copywriting, content creation, community management, social media, or a related discipline is valuable, particularly when combined with an established AI-enabled workflow.
- Strong fact-checking, proofreading, accessibility, and quality-control skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to explain the reasoning behind copywriting and community engagement decisions.
- Systems-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify repetitive work, improve processes, and turn effective methods into reusable workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and ownership, with the ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities independently.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
- Comfortable working asynchronously and providing clear, reliable handovers to colleagues across time zones.
- Curiosity and adaptability when learning new tools, technologies, and creative workflows.
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Pacific Time schedule.
