Become a key player at our Burlington Pork Processing Plant as a Refrigeration Mechanic. This full time role focuses on maintaining and optimizing mechanical plant equipment to prevent breakdowns.
In this position, reporting to the Chief Engineer for Maintenance, you'll perform regular inspections and repairs. Ideal candidates hold a valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic license (313A), with a strong understanding of equipment and compliance with TSSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Install mechanical systems and assist Millwrights
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in mechanical equipment
• Inspect refrigeration systems for leaks and adjust controls
• Ensure compliance with GMP rules during repairs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic license (313A)
• Proficient with mechanical hand and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints and enter inventory records
• Familiar with software like Excel and Outlook
