Drive for Grocery Outlet’s Supply Chain team as a Truck Driver, handling product transportation with precision. Your role is essential in maintaining a steady supply while ensuring operational safety.
This position at Grocery Outlet involves transporting products over designated routes and loading/unloading orders. You will ensure the secure operation of vehicles and compliance with all safety regulations. Reporting to the Assistant Transportation Manager, your attention to detail will enhance our logistics and service.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections • Operate service truck based on daily delivery routes • Keep in contact with dispatch for necessary instructions • Adhere to safety rules and regulations thoroughly • Assist other team units as needed under budget constraints
Requirements: • At least 6-months OTR or 1-year local driving experience • Must possess a valid Class A-CDL Driver’s License • Understanding of DOT regulations is essential • Capable of following written instructions clearly • Exhibits a positive attitude and teamwork
