This position is a vital part of ABMI's Science Centre, where you will lead projects focused on mammal monitoring and biodiversity analysis using remote cameras. Work alongside academic partners, Indigenous communities, NGOs, and industry representatives to enhance Alberta's ecological understanding. You will be responsible for applied research, species modeling, and developing analytical tools that provide critical insights into biodiversity trends.

Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee the mammal monitoring program implementation • Create biodiversity analysis methodologies using remote cameras • Perform collaborative applied research with stakeholders • Develop models for species biodiversity tracking • Analyze and interpret biodiversity data for actionable insights

Requirements: • Background in applied ecology or similar discipline • Proficient in analytical methods and research • Familiarity with biodiversity conservation strategies • Solid collaboration skills with diverse groups • Flexible work availability for Alberta locations
