Southern Aero is looking for an Airport Ramp worker who is also willing to learn how to fuel and tow aircraft as well.

Shift is flexible. Can be part time, full time. 4 on 4 off is available.

We are a fuel station for private aircraft.

Hoping to find someone who is a student pilot or has an interest in airplanes.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Load/unload baggage

· Assist pilots with aircraft pre and post flight services

· Operate ground support equipment

· Assist other departments as required including grounds and facility maintenance

· Cleaning and other tasks as assigned

· Provide basic security to people and property

· Direct people, drivers and flight crews on ramp area

· Fuel and Deice Aircraft

· Other duties and tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

· Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

· Must be able to provide acquire Airport Security Clearance.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills,



direct interface, over telephone and in writing

· Must be comfortable with working outdoors, day, night and in all weather conditions

· Must be available to work flexible hours, including holidays, mornings, nights, and weekends as scheduled.

· Prior experience in forklift or heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Lift baggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft, up to 75lbs

· Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars and other equipment, up to 75 lbs

· Standing and walking for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
