We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M1/M2 Licensed Technician to join our growing helicopter maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled aviation qualified who is passionate about safety, quality, and delivering excellence in helicopter maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on rotary-wing aircraft.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, company procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and instructions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve aircraft maintenance issues efficiently.
- Report non-conformances, defects, and quality concerns following established procedures.
- Maintain high standards of workplace and product safety.
- Communicate technical issues and maintenance findings to Lead Hands and fellow AMEs.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment while meeting operational deadlines.
- Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Qualifications Education & Licensing
- Completion of a Transport Canada-approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) program.
- Valid TCCA AME License (M1 and/or M2).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed AME performing helicopter maintenance.
- Experience maintaining Airbus helicopters is considered a strong asset.
- Field maintenance experience is highly desirable.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to successfully obtain enrollment in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program through security screening.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to identify and resolve maintenance challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
