Maintain the cleanliness and safety of exhibits at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon. As a Custodian, you will support daily operations and ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
The Custodian position at the Western Development Museum requires maintaining high cleanliness standards in all areas, including galleries and public spaces. You will document daily cleaning activities, assist in urgent situations, and work closely with the Facility and Grounds Supervisor and custodial team. Your work will help uphold the museum's mission and public trust responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning of museum areas and grounds
• Ensure safety of exhibits and collection during cleaning
• Document cleaning activities and report safety issues




• Attend to urgent clean-up situations promptly
• Monitor and request cleaning supplies as needed
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent with janitorial experience
• Experience in museum or gallery settings preferred
• Class 5 Drivers license and relevant certifications an asset
• Robust written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
