Conservation Works is seeking an experiencedGrants Management Specialistto join our team and help lead a growing portfolio of collaborative conservation programs across Northern California.This position will play a significant role in ourforest health and wildfire resilience programs, including managing more than$11 million in current state and federal conservation funding. and grant reportingMaintain strong working relationships with public agencies, Registered Professional Foresters, archaeologists, landowners, and conservation partnersFacilitate meetings and help keep collaborative projects, priorities, and deadlines moving forwardSupport development of new funding opportunities and emerging programsContribute to organizational systems, strategic planning, and other Conservation Works prioritiesQualificationsAt least3 years of progressive experience managing state, federal, or foundation grantsand demonstrated high-level project management experienceExperience withCAL FIRE, USDA NRCS, or highly collaborative grant programs strongly preferredExperience with complex budget management, invoicing, forecasting, and grant reportingStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong relationship building, meeting facilitation, and collaboration skillsExcellent organization, problem solving, and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCommitment to conservation and community resilienceWillingness to travel regionally and occasionally work evenings or weekendsCompensation & Benefits$38–$48/hour ($79,040–$99,840 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications.Conservation Works contributes toward employee health insurance premiums and offers dental and vision insurance, paid time off, a adaptable hybrid work arrangement with a minimum ofone day per week in the Windsor office, and participation in the California CalSavers retirement savings program.Priority Application DeadlineSeptember 30, 2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
