Compensation An industry-competitive and comprehensive compensation package is on offer, including a salary of $90,000 to $96,000 per year (commensurate upon experience), plus benefits.

Position Description

Implement, manage, and upkeep server hardware, software, and infrastructure amenities following established industry standards

Conduct application improvements and relevant testing

Resolve issues through investigation and troubleshooting

Proactively monitor servers and applications to ensure stability and prevent complications

Identify and resolve network, hardware, and software problems

Implement network security protocols to safeguard data, software, and hardware while educating employees about potential risks and protective measures

Aid the ERP team in database duplication and user creation

Offer timely technical support and advice to internal and external clients

Repair and recover from system or software failures

Assist in data management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technological infrastructure

Coordinate and contribute to the management of enterprise directory services and the integration of new business acquisitions

Ensure adherence to licensing regulations

Maintain network and system security (On-call as needed)

Support the design and security features of the server room

Reflect the company’s PSIs, work ethic, and commitment to service excellence in all duties and departmental interactions





Interface with external suppliers/contractors

Engage in corporate IT projects and foster cooperation with regional and HQ IT peers

Mentor and nurture junior staff members or interns

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in system and network administration

Proficiency in VMware VCenter 7

Experience with Dell and Cisco Switches, VLAN configuration and problem-solving

Familiarity with SonicWALL NSA series

Proficiency with Meraki Access Points and MX

Experience in Microsoft SCCM

Proficiency in VMware Horizon and HP Thin Clients

Familiarity with Bitdefender Gravity Zone antivirus

Proficient in Windows system operations and administration, active directory, DNS, DHCP

Understand network protocols and technologies, data communication fundamentals and operation

Knowledge of Virtualization Environments, Microsoft Environments, Active Directory, and Windows Server

Experience in designing and implementing IT Infrastructure systems for recent and existing locations

Understanding of TCP/IP Network Protocols

Knowledge of Firewall Management

Experience with Azure, O365

Familiarity with Veeam backup solutions

Experience with mobile device management tools

Qualifications

Knowledge of UNIX Based Systems

Familiarity with Oracle

Experience with monitoring systems – Auvik

Experience with Storage Systems – DELL Unity and Compellent

Programming abilities

Knowledge of Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL, MYSQL)

Experience with AWS – EC2, S3, IAM, Cloudwatch, etc.
