As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the 3G3 Surgery Program, you will utilize critical thinking and nursing processes to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Your role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and their families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet various health needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional states • Document and report changes in patient conditions • Assist with daily living activities for patient welfare • Educate patients and families on care procedures • Advocate for patient needs within the care team
Requirements: • Accredited practical nurse education program completion • Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta • Current BCLS-HCP certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
