As an Appliance Service Contractor, you will be performing field work to repair residential electrical and gas appliances including, laundry machines, stoves, microwaves, fridges, garburator, dishwashers and other home appliances in the customers’ homes.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct appliance assessments to determine the issue
- Interpret wiring diagrams and tech sheets of appliances
- Communicate with customers regarding details of the assessment and servicing required
- Provide timely and quality repairs of customers’ products
- Providing knowledgeable and courteous repair service
- Maintain high-quality customer service and care
- Resolve installation issues and perform Re/Re service as necessary
- Estimate the costs of repairs/replacements
- Order parts and maintain parts inventory in service vehicle
- Complete all service repair reports in full detail
- Minor electrical & plumbing work may be necessary

Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least 1 years of appliance repair experience preferred
- Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
- Ability to perform accurate repair of customer product
- Punctual and able to work independently




- Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work variable and flexible schedule, including overtime
- Own a vehicle and tools for service
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and perform field work
- Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written
- Appliance Service Certification an asset (CFC, Gas C Ticket, Red Seal, etc.)
- Must have commercial general liability insurance

Compensation
- Competitive rate based on percentage
- Average $6000 - $9000 a month for full time hours, may be more depending on jobs taken
