At present the Company is looking to fill a permanent full-time position for a Carpenters Apprentice. A minimum of one year of general construction experience is required, additional experience is considered an asset.

(Note: All job sites are located near bus routes) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The following list outlines the types of jobs / activities you will be trained to complete with the Company.

- Accurately measuring and cutting blocks,



TJI’s, studs and sheathing for Journeymen carpenters
- Building wall layouts for wood frame walls
- Learning how to execute engineered floor layouts, install beams, hangers and fasteners
- Installing engineering components including (Hold-downs, hurricane clips, hangers etc..)
- You will be expected to look at architectural and structural drawings and ask questions in order to gain a base level understanding of the plans in order to support your development as a carpenter

OTHER EXPECTATIONS

- You are physically fit and do not have pre-existing injuries that would inhibit you in doing your job.
- You are able to lift 75lbs.
