Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team! This paid apprenticeship position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance, and industrial machinery. If you’re eager to learn, grow your mechanical skills, and work with a variety of tools and equipment, this is the perfect opportunity for you to kick-start your career in the automotive and heavy machinery industry.

Duties

- Assist experienced mechanics with repairs on vehicles, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery
- Learn to operate and maintain equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to perform maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine inspections on farm machinery, HVAC systems, and automotive components
- Support the assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems




- Participate in heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

- Dealership experience or hands-on mechanical background is a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair, electrical systems, or industrial equipment preferred
- Familiarity with schematics, hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as excavators or forklifts
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn new skills
- Good customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients when needed
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety standards
