About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Asset Protection Technology Specialist with strong expertise in Genetec Security Center and Axis Communications solutions. In this role, you will support and enhance our enterprise physical security systems, ensuring optimal performance of surveillance, access control, and related technologies.

What You’ll Do

- Administer and support Genetec Security Center (Omnicast, Synergis, AutoVu).
- Install, configure, and maintain Axis IP cameras and security devices.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and storage health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to video surveillance and access control systems.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
- Partner with IT and security teams to integrate systems with enterprise environments.
- Support incident investigations by retrieving and exporting video footage.
- Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Assist with new deployments, expansions,



and system improvements.

What You Bring

- 3–7+ years of experience in physical security systems or asset protection technology.

Nice to Have

- Working knowledge of networking concepts, such as:
- TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing
- PoE (Power over Ethernet)
- Familiarity with:
- Server environments
- Virtualization
- Security best practices for surveillance systems

Preferred Certifications

- Genetec Certified Professional (GCP)
- Axis Certified Professional
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification (nice to have)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Genetec Security Center
- Axis Communications (cameras and devices)
- Solid understanding of:
- Video Management Systems (VMS)
- CCTV and access control systems
- Camera configuration and optimization (resolution, codecs, analytics)
- Proven troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
