Alphabyte is seeking an experienced Asset Management & Asset Information Advisor to support consulting engagements involving asset management strategy, governance, asset information, and Work and Asset Management (WAM) modernization.

This is a contract role for a senior practitioner who can provide subject-matter expertise across asset management, asset information, lifecycle planning, governance, and enterprise WAM initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Advise on asset management strategy, governance, and operating models.
- Assess current asset management practices, roles, responsibilities, and capability gaps.
- Support development of future-state operating models and governance frameworks.
- Review and refine asset hierarchies and asset registry approaches.
- Develop asset information ownership, stewardship, accountability, and governance models.
- Support development of asset information strategies, standards, and data-quality frameworks.
- Contribute to WAM requirements, future-state design, options analysis,



and procurement activities.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in asset management, infrastructure management, asset information management, or a related field.
- Experience working with physical infrastructure assets such as transportation, roads, facilities, fleet, utilities, or similar asset classes.
- Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management, asset hierarchies, criticality, condition, risk, and asset information requirements.
- Experience with asset management governance, standards, strategies, or operating models.
- Familiarity with WAM, EAM, or CMMS environments.
- Knowledge of the ISO 55000 family of standards and relevant Institute of Asset Management guidance.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Ability to translate asset management principles into practical requirements and recommendations.
