About the role:

Slocan Village Market is looking for an Assistant Manager who will be a key leader in a community market where we take pride in everything we do. Working alongside our General Manager, you'll help lead a team that works as one, supporting staff across every department and stepping in wherever the store needs you.





This role suits someone who is always improving: someone who asks how we can do it better, embraces new systems and processes, and helps others grow. As a locally owned independent grocer, we think and act locally, and you'll be an integral part of building relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers in the Slocan Valley. Above all, your actions will earn trust: from the team you help lead, the customers you serve, and the community that counts on us.

Slocan Village Market is located in a small rural community. Our ideal applicant lives locally or is already planning relocation to the area.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
