About the Role
Are you a high-energy automotive leader who knows how to desk deals, coach a sales team to victory, and deliver an outstanding customer experience?
Ideal Honda is seeking a results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our Mississauga showroom floor. In this role, you will set the daily tempo for the sales department—driving month-over-month unit volume, maintaining healthy gross profit margins, and mentoring our sales associates.
What You Will Do
- Drive Showroom Operations: Lead daily floor traffic, actively desk deals, step in on tough negotiations, and drive volume and gross profit targets.
- Coach & Develop Talent: Conduct daily morning huddles and weekly training sessions; actively coach sales representatives to help them hit individual targets and improve conversion rates.
- Process & CRM Accountability: Maintain strict CRM pipeline discipline across the team (leads, follow-ups, and lost-sale reviews) to maximize every opportunity.
- Champion Customer Loyalty: Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction standards (CSI/SSI) to build repeat and referral business.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Partner with senior management on vehicle pricing, trade-in valuations, and showroom/lot presentation.
What You Bring
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years of progressive automotive sales experience in a high-volume franchised dealership.
- Licensing: Valid OMVIC license and a clean driver’s abstract (Required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern Automotive CRMs (e.g., VinSolutions, Elead, DriveCentric) and DMS platforms (e.g., PBS, CDK, Reynolds).
- Leadership Style: Hands-on, energetic desk presence with a strong focus on process improvement and team development.
