The Support Payroll Specialist assists senior payroll consultants by documenting payroll processes, gathering information, organizing evidence, maintaining traceability documentation, and supporting payroll workshops and stakeholder validation activities. The role ensures project documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with project governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare payroll process narratives.

Update payroll process maps.

Document payroll workflow steps.

Maintain version-controlled documentation.

Record payroll roles, approvals, and hand-offs.

Collect payroll policies.

Gather payroll reports.

Document system inputs and outputs.

Inventory payroll applications and integrations.

Record payroll calendars and schedules.

Maintain issue logs.

Follow up on information requests.

Maintain validation trackers.

Record assumptions.

Track unresolved issues.

Document manual payroll activities.

Capture exception processes.

Record recurring payroll issues.

Maintain risks and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

3-5 years in payroll, HR operations, or payroll administration.

Experience supporting payroll projects preferred.
