Join Optima Living as a Licensed Practical Nurse, providing compassionate care to seniors in a person-centered setting. This role focuses on enhancing the dignity and independence of residents throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
As part of a dedicated care team, you report to the Director of Care, helping to develop and implement personalized care plans for each resident. Your role emphasizes communication, compassion, and support, ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive living experience. You will facilitate both routine and complex nursing care.
Key Responsibilities: • Participate in resident care plan development • Deliver direct nursing care and education • Keep meticulous records of health assessments • Support residents during transitions of care • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited nursing program • Current nursing license in Alberta • Experience in a residential care setting preferred • Certification in CPR and First Aid • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
