Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Coastal Engineer to enhance its Ontario Team. This role involves hydrodynamic modeling using tools like MIKE 3 and HEC-RAS, focused on coastal engineering design and environmental impact assessments. Candidates will apply their technical expertise to support resilient infrastructure projects while producing comprehensive technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop hydrodynamic models for various engineering projects • Assess coastal hazards to promote sustainable infrastructure • Prepare detailed technical reports on findings • Assist in proposal development and project planning • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams effectively
Requirements: • Graduate degree in Engineering focusing on hydrodynamics • Minimum 5 years of relevant consultation experience • Valid G-class driver’s license required • Technical expertise in hydrodynamic modeling • Qualified registration eligibility for P.Eng or P.Geo
