Job Description Bulk Shipper/Receiver (Operator I) Woodstock, Ontario
Operations Hourly Full-time - $31.05 CAD
Pre-employment Requirement Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference check
About The Position Work consists primarily maintaining bulk feed Inventory levels in our two production systems along with receiving bulk ingredients from Trucks and totes/bags into the system. Also load out Bulk trucks for delivery.
Duties And Responsibilities
Operate Lift Trucks
Operate bulk receiving system
Perform setup and cleanup of bulk receiving system
Work with Customers/Truck Drivers
Follow Sop's and attention to details
Troubleshoot problem
Monitor Equipment and assist with maintenance tasks
Have the ability to climb stairs and ladders, sit and stand for long periods, working with heights, bending, and kneeling
Following GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Safety Rules is essential
All other duties required
Required Skills And Qualifications
Demonstrates a strong team-collaborator attitude while being able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have good attention to detail troubleshooting skills
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
Related Industry Knowledge
The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend
May be required to lift 55 lbs / 22 kg and needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditions
Shift work, overtime and weekends may be required
Education Or Work Experience
High school education or equivalent is required
Health and Safety
Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
