Join Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba as a casual Youth Care Worker. This role requires driving youth as well as engaging in daily care duties, with versatile shifts available.
As a Residential Youth Care Worker at Patrick House & Cypress House, you will support young individuals in a structured group home setting. Responsibilities include assisting with transportation, everyday household tasks, and participating in meetings. Applicants are required to have a year of post-secondary education or be eligible for awake night shifts without it.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in standard youth care practices
• Transport youth to necessary appointments and school
• Perform household cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Cook and prepare meals for youth
• Document and report on care progress
Requirements:
• Minimum of one year post-secondary education preferred
• Experience working with youth is desirable
• Hold a valid Manitoba class 5 Driver’s license
• Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR
• Background checks are mandatory
Provide vital support and care as a valued member of the Child and Family Services team.
