This paid, one-year internship is designed for Indigenous candidates to work within the Shared Services payroll team while completing specialized training.

The program covers all membership fees and provides mentoring to guide your development in payroll processing and compliance tasks. Participants will have the chance to secure a permanent role upon completing their internship. Key Responsibilities:

- Support preparation and processing of payroll under guidance
- Reconcile payroll data accurately across multiple pay cycles
- Assist with year-end processing and remittances




- Ensure payroll records remain compliant and accurate
- Learn from and apply lessons from National Payroll Institute coursework

Requirements:

- Must identify as a member of a First Nations or Inuit community
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
- Completed Secondary V (or equivalent)
- Comfortable with numerical data and technology
- Detail-oriented mindset with independence in work
