Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role or High Level Hearing Aid Practitioner based in Edmonton, AB. The Audiologist will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, tympanometry, and other diagnostic procedures, and interpret results to develop appropriate treatment plans. Day-to-day tasks include fitting, programming, and verifying hearing aids and assistive listening devices, providing counseling and education to clients and families on hearing loss and device use, and performing regular follow-up appointments to monitor outcomes and adjust treatment as needed.

The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation,



collaborating with other healthcare professionals when required, and contributing to clinic processes that support high-quality, ethical, and inclusive care.

Qualifications

- Clinical audiology competency, including diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and verification, and management of diverse hearing disorders.
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills to support clients and families with empathy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate charting, record-keeping, and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
- Comfort with audiology technology and clinic software, including audiometers, tympanometers, real-ear measurement systems, and electronic health records.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Audiology from an accredited institution and eligibility for registration/licensure with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Alberta.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice, and delivering inclusive, non-discriminatory care to clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Experience in a private practice or clinic setting and familiarity with hearing aid manufacturers and product lines is an asset.
