Our mobile veterinary clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistants to join our team. Providing personalized and affordable service to clients and their pets in the comfort of their homes is our priority. You will be part of the team visiting client's home with a veterinarian to provide services. Our clinic hours are 4PM-9PM on weekdays and 10AM-5pm on weekends.
Responsibilities
Assist with Animal Handling and Restraint: safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during examinations, sample collection, vaccinations, and minor procedures
Support During Medical Procedures: assist the veterinarian during physical exams, treatments, sample collection (e.g., blood, urine, fecal), and medication administration
Client Communication and Education: greet clients, obtain patient history, and provide transparent instructions on follow-up care, medication administration, and preventive health
Recordkeeping and Administrative Support: update patient files, process payments, and help coordinate appointment scheduling and communication with clients.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role is required.
Hold a valid driving license.
Robust communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately in various situations.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
A genuine passion for animal care and welfare is essential for success in this role.
