Join Nova Scotia Health as a Full time Anaesthesia Assistant at Dartmouth General Hospital. Provide crucial support in anesthesia care across various clinical settings.

In this permanent role, you will report to the Manager of the Department of Anesthesia. Collaborating closely with anesthesiologists, your focus will be on pre-operative and post-anesthesia care. Key skills include being a Registered Respiratory Therapist and completion of an Anesthesia Assistant certification.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and technical support in anesthesia care
Manage anesthesia resources and equipment efficiently
Assist in the administration of anesthetic care
Participate in patient clinical management as needed
Maintain readiness of supplies in various settings

Requirements:
Registered Respiratory Therapist status required
Current registration with Nova Scotia College needed
Anesthesia Assistant certification complete or in progress
Minimum two years experience preferred
Current BLS-C (HCP) and ACLS certifications required
