Tasks

Direct and control construction projects Evaluate construction projects when modifying commercial, transportation or recreational facilities and real estate Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate Identify customers’ needs Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility Plan and organize construction projects Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements Recommend products or services to customers Identify and solicit potential clients Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service Prepare and administer sales contracts Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery,



equipment and electrical and mechanical systems Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal Resolve product and service related problems Troubleshoot problems related to equipment Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists Organize and maintain inventory Experience and specialization
