Murray OK Tire is looking for a Licensed Automotive Service Technician or Level 2/3 Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. The mechanic will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on light passenger vehicles, troubleshooting and diagnosing defects, and offer top-quality performance in a safe and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for diagnosing the source of any malfunctions and performing required repairs.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service is required.
- Perform brake, safety, and PM inspections.
- Perform road tests and safety inspections.
- Keep equipment and tools properly maintained
- Maintain standards of Health and Safety and cleanliness
- Document work performed accurately and according to company policy
- Review and complete work orders.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment.
- Any other related tasks and duties.
Education and Qualifications
- Registered 310s Apprentice
- 310S Automotive Service Technician licence considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Job can be physically demanding, must be physically fit
- Valid G license is a requirement
