Thunderbolt Contracting Ltd. is currently hiring AZ & DZ licensed drivers to fill various positions within our team! These positions may include tri-axle, tandem, sweeper, water truck, and more. Drivers are tasked with servicing commercial and residential projects by delivering and/or removing material and equipment. This may include servicing multiple sites per day according to one’s assigned routes.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Deliver materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Performs pre-trip & post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Performs all duties as instructed and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
- Operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate driver records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use.




- Communicate issues relating to employee relations, equipment issues, customer issues – make suggestions for solutions.
- Maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures prescribed by the Company and WHMIS Guidelines in performance of duties.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years’ experience.
- Valid AZ/DZ license.
- Clean CVOR and personal abstract.
- Willingness to work 10-to-12-hour days.
- Knowledgeable of Ottawa and the surrounding area.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.

Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour Expected hours: 55.0 per week
