Blackbird Baking Co is looking to hire a bakery support position- dishwasher / general maintenance position. The right candidate must have availability to work early mornings and weekends.

This is a full-time job of 5 shifts a week 8 hours a day.

Weekend availability is a must for this role!

Shifts may be

6am-2pm

8am-4pm

Blackbird is a fast growing bread bakery in downtown Toronto, located right on Queen St East in Riverside. The work setting is very calm and respectful. We take the safety and happiness of our employees very seriously.

The job involves assisting all the different departments of the bakery depending on volume.

The dishwashing position involves washing equipment and dishes generated by the baking and pastry teams.

General maintenance involves mopping, deep cleaning, high dusting, window washing, general organizing and cleaning. If you are interested,



there is potential to be involved in some bread or savoury production and retail packaging.

Supporting the bakery and driving team, involves packing orders, labelling bags, loading and unloading vans.

There are shifts that involve retail packaging and assisting for bread or savoury production.

We are looking for a candidate who is self motivated, can work well independently and is detail oriented.
