The Treatment
Coordinator provides essential administrative support to patients and students in a busy clinic setting. Your daily tasks involve managing patient appointments, coordinating referrals, and assisting students with patient assignments. This role is crucial in enhancing the patient experience and ensuring effective clinical operations throughout various programs in the School of Dentistry. Key Responsibilities:
Assign incoming referrals to students/residents
Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups
Document communications and manage patient charts
Review and extract data for standardized reports
Liaise with Program Directors for scheduling needs Requirements:
Office Administration/Medical Secretary Certificate or equivalent
Five years of relevant dental office experience
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems
Familiarity with dental terminology
