Kickstart your career in skilled trades as a Signals and Communications Apprentice at CN. This position focuses on installation, repair, and maintenance of essential railway signal systems in a safety-focused environment. At CN, we are searching for dedicated apprentices to work on various signals and communications systems.
This apprenticeship provides hands-on training and requires a Grade 12 diploma or GED. You will learn to install, repair, and test essential signaling systems while adhering to safety protocols, all while enjoying advantages like paid training. Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair signal systems and apparatus
Perform construction duties including digging and wiring
Maintain highway grade crossing protection systems
Operate hand tools and testing instruments
Ensure a secure working workplace following CN’s safety policies Requirements:
Grade 12 Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License and CDL
At least 18 years of age
Basic understanding of electrical principles
