Join School District 71 as a Temporary Education Assistant, providing vital support to students in grades K-12. Candidates will be expected to support behavior management, instructional tasks, and personal care for students with varying needs. Your expertise helps create a team-oriented learning workplace that empowers young learners to thrive. Key Responsibilities:
Assist students under supervision in diverse learning environments
Support instructional and non-instructional tasks in classrooms
Implement behavior support strategies per individual education plans
Conduct personal care and health routines as needed
Facilitate the inclusion of students with diverse abilities Requirements:
Grade 12 education and certification in Human Services Worker
Minimum two years’ experience with diverse student abilities
Proficiency in behavior management and CPR-AED
Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license preferred
