The Registered

Nurse will be vital in maintaining Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative status through education and coaching. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in maternal-infant care, demonstrating commitment to family-centered solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient lactation consultations
Develop care plans for families requiring feeding assistance
Lead initiatives to maintain BFI status
Coach staff on breastfeeding best practices
Support follow-up for neonates at risk for jaundice Requirements:
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
NRP Certification and BCLS required
Three years' experience in Mother Baby Unit
Expertise in patient teaching and adult learning principles
